『Mike Oldfield Take 3』 は、マイク・オールドフィールドファンによって作成されたプライベートＣＤやプライベートＤＶＤ、その他希少なアイテム等を紹介するホームページです。この中では、私の持っているものだけを紹介していますが、コンサートライブなど、まだまだたくさんの音源があるようです。

プライベートアイテムは、正規盤では聴くことのできないマイク・オールドフィールドの希少な音源・映像がたくさん詰まっているほか、世界各国のマイクファンによる素敵な手作りＣＤやジャケットカバーなど興味深いものがたくさんあります。ここに紹介するプライベートアイテムのジャケットカバーの多くは、入手時のデザインを参考に私個人の楽しみの中で改めて作製したものがほとんどです。基本的に正規盤として入手可能なＣＤやＤＶＤなどは、一部を除いて掲載しておりません。

コレクターズアイテムは、マイク・オールドフィールドの魅力にはまり、その結果入手したマイクの音楽活動に関連した企画ものや関連本などを紹介しています。マイク・オールドフィールドについて、あまり知られていない日本で、これらのアイテムを手に入れるのは極めて困難な状況です。
